Frequently asked questions
Is the app free?
Yes. The app is free for iOS and Android and has no ads. You only pay for what you buy in the shop and the fees of the sections you belong to.
Do I need to be a member to use the app?
No. News, events, structures and the shop are open to everyone, with no account needed. The members’ area, with fees and the digital membership card, is for members of the AAC and its sections.
How do I open the members’ area?
With your membership number and date of birth. You receive a code at the email address registered with the AAC and, from then on, open the members’ area with Face ID or fingerprint.
Which payment methods can I use?
MB WAY, card or Multibanco reference. Payments go straight to the AAC, and neither the app nor the server ever sees card details.
How do I join a section?
As an AAC member, ask in the app to join the section. The section approves the request and, if it charges fees, you pay them in the app too. Student associations have no members: you follow them instead.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. The latest content you loaded stays available, and the digital membership card opens even offline.
